Maintain Your brush by washing it in warm soapy water once a week.

Degenerative disease and aging are caused by impaired cell regeneration. Toxins and waste build up in the body’s tissues. This interferes with the oxygenation of the body’s cells. The body is designed to eliminate toxins automatically. The human anatomy is made up organs, glands, bones, muscle and tissue.  The digestive system, the respiratory system, the immune and lymphatic system are all designed to facilitate the process of elimination. However the skin functions as the largest system of elimination. About thirty per cent of the body’s wastes are eliminated through the skin. The skin is often referred to as “the third kidney”. Sweat gland under the epidermis contain and expel a high volume of uric acid, similar in composition to urine.

Did You know that one pound of waste and toxins are discharged through the skin each day? Dry brush massage assists  the body to eliminate  these toxins. The skin also breaths, absorbing oxygen, and releasing carbon dioxide, formed in the tissues. Vitamin D forms on the skin when the sun’s rays are exposed to oil produced by  the skin glands. Sauna and steam bath therapies are also  based on these principals.

  1. You are most welcome – Thank You for Your feedback – I find dry brush massage improves and increases My energy levels.

  2. So, why is dry brushing better than just exfoliating in the shower? I’ve heard of it but haven’t tried yet! I usually just brush with my scrip brush in the shower to wash away the dead skin etc as I brush.

    1. Exfoliating in the shower would have similar benefits. Removing the dead skin assists the body to eliminate toxins. Dry brush massage also stimulates circulation.

  3. I love to dry body brush. It honestly feels so amazing! It’s a self care must. And the benefits are too awesome to pass up 😊. Thanks for sharing!
